In March 2012, UNICEF, UNFPA, and the United National Population Fund launched the high-level United Nations Commission on Life-Saving Commodities for Women and Children. By improving access to essential but overlooked life-saving medicines and health supplies for the world’s most vulnerable people, the lives of millions of women and children could be saved every year.
McCann Global Health, an internationally recognized advertising firm, answered the call, volunteering to develop marketing tools to create demand for Zinc + ORS.
